  • Ocean Park customer review by jim

    jim - Dec 09, 2016

on December 8, 2016 at 6:30 pm I took my iPhone 6 to Ocean Park (4300 Steeles Ave, E. Unit A50, pacific mall) store to change my battery because it was not holding the charge prior. I gave my phone to "Lyna" and owner "Gary" and went to the bank to get $45 cash to pay for the service. When I got my phone back from "Lyna" and "Gary" I noticed that my screen was damaged around the outer corners of the screen all the way around. I said to "Gary" that my phone was not in this condition when I initially gave it to you, he then proceeded to say there is nothing I can do to fix your phone. I spoke to "Lyna" and asked her if she had seen anything wrong with my screen when I initially handed it to her and she replied "No", but "Gary" insisted that he will not fix the phone, that "he does not care", and I "should call the police and report him", and handed me his business card. I was lead to feel as though this act was intentional and my service wasn't valued. I would not like to see this happen to anyone else or for the potential for this to happen to a genuine customer like myself. I am a City of Toronto worker and serve the public well and do not deserve to be treated as less than.
