    Please learn from my mistake. On October 13 I went to Crossiron Mills and bought a straightening hair brush from a booth in the mall. The company that makes the brush is Royale. Beth, the manager at the booth, sold me the brush. It cost $157 CAD. It works OK, but not nearly as good as the Simply Straight I bought for $80 a year ago – so I decided to return it yesterday (October 15th). What I didn’t know was that the receipt was stamped “no returns” (a bit late since I had already paid!). Never once during the sale did Beth tell me this. She slipped the receipt in the bag without mentioning it. I came to her with a very calm manner and tried to be reason with her. During our discussion she threatened to called Security three times. To make this short, BEFORE you buy things, ask for the return policy! It is the consumer’s responsibility to find out these things, not the retailer’s responsibility to inform - according to Alberta Consumer Complaints! Imagine if you bought insurance without being told that your pre-existing condition was not covered. And off you go on a vacation and have an attack due to your pre-existing condition and the insurance company refuses to pay ... if you had known would you still have gone?

    Wish I read this before I got scammed! Same thing happened to me...they showed me a thermal infrared brush said it's $199 then gave me deal for $129. Then I get home and realized it's not same brush at all. I tried to return the refused and wanted me to give $20 more to get same infrared brush that they used to demonstrate. They did a bait and switch and rarity/special price marketing trick. Please beware. DO NOT buy from them. They are very rude and manipulative and tell you to go to customer service when you try to solve the problem. Save yourself headache. Prices are not good for this product...can get anywhere same thing for $60.

    The sales Rep. in this store will treat you so nicely. Make you laughed, then after she will tell you the price of the product in expensive amount... it happened to me, the lady said the price is 499.00 , then she told me she will give a great deal.. 499 turned to 249, then until she said 119.00.. she tried to convinced me, then of course for that deal you'll get it! She asked me what colour I like, then she immediately grab the pin pad machine and punched the amount there... after 15minutes , I came back to return the product .. she told me she can't refund it... even it was 15minutes ago.. the reason was, she gave a discount on it... but I told her I did not ask for a discount. She was the one who offered the discount.... She should tell the customer first before they pay that it'll be final sale because of the discount.. I am sharing my experience to let other consumer be aware of their policy... And The way they treated me after I bought was unpleasant... even the manager was impolite/ rude. she told the sales rep. To let me go, and just tell my complain to the customer service.... they did not even be sorry for the wrong information they told me... and the manager even gave me a bad look.. unbelievable . I will not surely recommend this store to you, it's not because of bad products but how the people who run the business treat the customers.... Not all the customers know their polices, it's their obligation to let the consumers know the proper information instead of fooling them just to buy their products....

    Sales rep here are just using sweet words to attract customers. This retailer is fraud because they will offer you lifetime warranty but if something happen to your product they will ask for extra money judt to exchange it. The manager is so rude and will refuse to help when you have to exchange the item. She is so uneducated. I regret spending money for this unworthy product. Please do not buy anything from this store royale crossiron. Better to get it from winners than here.
