The zipper on my Eddie Bauer parka, which I have worn no more than 20 times, keeps popping open at the slightest pressure. According to the manager at the Eddie Bauer Moncton store, this is normal for any zipper!!! And he further indicated that if you can zip it back up, then the zipper meets Eddie Bauer's quality assurances. No matter if it keeps popping open. As is, I cannot use the parka anymore. I have been a longstanding and frequent customer of Eddie Bauer. A good part of my wardrobe carries the Eddie Bauer brand name. Even though their stuff was pricey, it was good quality and backed up by their quality assurance policy. However, prices have staid up, quality has gone down, and their quality assurances policy is no longer worth the paper it’s written on. As things stand, I cannot see myself shopping at Eddie Bauer’s anymore.
